Vishakapatnam, March 4, 2010: Expectant moms can now enrich
themselves with important tips on the care and precautions that are
needed before, during and post pregnancy to ensure good health of both
mother and the child. LifeCell International, India’s pioneer stem cell
banking company is hosting an antenatal workshop on Sunday,
March 21,
2010 at Ashirwad, The Dolphin Hotel, Daba Gardens, Vishakapatnam.
This session will be conducted by Rekha Sudarshan, who is an expert
trainer for mothers-to-be in pregnancy management from
2.00pm to 5.00
pm
The antenatal program is designed to give an overview about pregnancy,
and discuss about varied topics related to pregnancy like hormonal
changes, diet and nutrition and share tips on maintaining a healthy
outlook during pregnancy. The workshop will also focus on what to expect
in labour, how to cope with pain, role of birth partner, what makes
labour easier, positions for birth, how to look after, feed and care for
your baby and what to expect in the early weeks of parenting.
The workshop will also touch upon breathing exercises and relaxation
techniques. Such exercises will enable the expectant mothers to remain
calm and relaxed during pregnancy. These techniques can be used during
labour and birth to encourage the mind and body to work together
naturally, improve positive hormone production and promote a feeling of
calm and well being.
